Age: 22, I started playing badminton at the age of 12 when I was at school. I instantly enjoyed the game, it helped me with my balance and fitness. I joined the club after attending the East Lothion Disability Festival where the club were out in support. I had great fun that day and decided I should go along to the club.
The club is great, everyone was and still is so friendly, I have learnt a lot and play as much as I want to..sometimes too much as my body aches the next day!!!!The Coaches are great and help me a lot. My aim is to get better and to maybe play in a few competitions as well as continuing to help at the new section with the junior players. I would like to take my coaching awards at some point to. |
